Some of the rock work supporting the original rail bed is still visible in a few places. Also below are the remnants of two of the bridges destroyed by vandals over the years. |
Possibly a remnant of the "ice ponds" ??? The planking was about 3' wide by 12' to 15' long with a hinged area near the one end.
