Possible Shaman's Chamber?
Directly in front of the rock (left photo below) is a shaft going down into the chamber pictured in the two photos on the right. The chamber is approximately 3'x3'x3'. It's small, but a person of small stature could have easily sat inside to meditate or conduct rituals.
